Geneza powstania rodzinnej manufaktury drewna WILK BROTHERS FURNITURE narodziła się z fascynacji formami japońskiej i holenderskiej sztuki użytkowej, w duchu minimalizmu i wysmakowanego designu. All the works are carried out according to traditional methods, secrets of the trade and the rules of artistic carpentry.

Before the items are put into use, they go through a long and complicated processing process, which ultimately contributes to their high quality and long-term durability, while maintaining the incredible qualities of artistic craftsmanship, elegance and unique appearance. Wood for the manufacture comes straight from the forest, in a raw and natural state, along with lichens. The next process is segmentation in the sawmill and long-term seasoning, as befits the traditional methods of the old carpentry art.

A thorough observation process, time spent surrounded by drying wood, along with the accompanying note of passion, make it possible for us to know exactly what will be made of a given piece of wood before we start work. In the final phase, using hand carpentry tools, the items are given their final shape, ecological impregnation with oils of natural origin (tung oil and linseed oil), merging with non-toxic, certified binders, and the color of original colors, according to ancient recipes of mother nature's gifts (e.g. black is made of soot mixtures).  Manufaktura WILK BROTHERS FURNITURE works not only with Polish types of wood, we also make items from exotic raw materials on request.
